Old Bar Beach
Roll out a towel on Old Bar Beach, a well known surfing beach and also a fantastic kite-boarding spot. The Old Bar Beach Festival is an annual celebration held every October long weekend with market and food stalls, kid’s activities and live music. Kombi Fest is one of the festival’s highlights. Old Bar Beach is patrolled during the summer months.

Old Bar Nature Walks and Hikes – Mud Bishops
There are 4km of scenic walking tracks, with a main entry point located down the road from the Club Old Bar Motel at the end of Farleigh St. The scenic trails to the airfield, Old Bar Beach and Mud Bishops are home to many bird species plus Wallabies, Koalas and Echidnas have been sighted and during Spring the wildflowers are abundant.
Old Bar Main Street
A five minute walk from the Club Old Bar Motel, the Old Bar main street has everything you need. With hairdressers, chemist, bakery, Australia Post and a Coles supermarket, along with great local retail businesses. It’s an easy town to get around by car, on foot or bicycle.
Wallabi Point and Saltwater
Only 10 minutes’ drive from Old Bar you will find Saltwater National Park. Surrounded by rainforest, Saltwater Beach is a great surfing and swimming spot. Paddle a canoe among the mangroves on Khappinghat Creek, or walk the Headland Walking Track to a whale watching platform.
Unpack a lunch by the water at Saltwater Picnic Area where you can swim, surf and relax on soft, white sand. Wallabi Point is a small nearby village which is also renowned for its surfing beach.
